Really terrified for my MRI results after my scan today for pituitary
I.m going on Friday for MRI on pituitary, I was wondering if they gave u an idea how long for results to come through?
7-10 days they said, why are you having one? having symtoms? xx
headaches inside eye socket where nose bridge is, loss of libido, was leaking a small amount of milk from breast, huge weight gain and fatigue. Just wanting to get something sorted as just don't feel myself. what's your symptoms? x
Weight gain
Tsh not rising despite high levo no libido did have headaches but think that was glasses. Are you worried or calm
Not quite getting you there:
Tsh not rising despite high levo
TSH is expected to drop rather than rise when on high levothyroxine.
Its not getting into normal.levels as is something like 0.02 so is below range?
I unsure what it's meant to do lol but dr said its not right. The more levo I get my t4 doesn't rise and tsh gets lower. It was 0.03 then 0.02 with a extra 50mg is that right then
I cannot explain why your T4 doesn't rise.
It is so very easy for me to sit here and write. Perhaps you could look at things like this - whatever is or isn't the matter with your pituitary, having the MRI doesn't change it. And it might just help to get any issues identified and treated. Or it might show that you don't have any pituitary issues.
Waiting for any results is worrying, but at least you may be able to cross something off the list, or get treatment. I have been waiting for over 5 weeks for results from a melanoma, to see if I need further treatment. Try and look at it as a positive thing - they are testing, they can treat, and not just shaking their heads and walking away. Good luck and a hug.

Really scared now. MRI has picked up something 3mm on the left of the pituitary but they don't know what it is so I have to re MRI again in six months. But surely it can spread if cancer.
