Hi. Someone told me to take magnesium citrate 150mg to help with my muscles. I must say that this is helping me amazingly. I'm just about to up my dose too 300 mg as that is the best dose. I am finding that my muscle stiffness and sleeping is much better. Does anyone else take this and find it beneficial??

I find magnesium beneficial for all sorts of things. But I don't just take the citrate, there are lots of different ones.

Hi greygoose. I have been taking magnesium malaise and although it seems to help if I take the full rec dose I get stomach cramp. Would the magnesium citrate be better for me do you think. I sometimes get constipation

Magnesium citrate is a laxative. So, might give you even more cramps. But, the only way you will know how it affects you, is to try it. :)

I'm starting to feel like a different person. My body is starting to work with me rather than against me, however I have been on the Levo for 4 and a half weeks so is it possible that it could be that kicking in too? I have no idea but as far as muscle stiffness goes.....oh my what a difference!

After 4 and a half weeks you should expect some benefit from your levo. :)

I take magnesium citrate 400mg. Some people report the runs when taking mag citrate but I've had no issues. Sleep much better and knee pain has gone

I've had no issues either with that side of things, apart from its nicer to be going! Lol. I hear you about knee pain, I've broke in the mag c slowly but I'm already benefiting and it's making me happier 😌

I read some where on here that if mag citrate doesn't give you the runs it is an indication that you are deficient in it. I don't know how true this is but I'm happy to be taking it. I even got my mum on to it for her osteoarthritis and she no longer needs paracetamol

I take a lot of gabapentin for my knee pain and other related pain as the tramadol and codiene was too much opiate and making my brain fog more harder than necessary. I haven't had a toilet problem so maybe this is exactly what my body needs. All I know is that I'm feeling real good at the moment. I still have many issues that the mag c won't probably touch but the fact that I can bend my knees and my leg muscles are starting to stretch is an amazing feeling 😃
