TSH 11.74 is overtly hypothyroid and you need Levothyroxine to replace the low thyroid. It's not dangerous right now but it will get higher and start causing health problems if you don't get Levothyroxine.

Yes - you are doing organ damage. Your kidneys begin to fail, you will/have stopped making fresh red/white blood cells, your bones are going osteo and 100 other bad things. You need Thyroid hormone in one form or another. I prefer NDT but it really doesnt matter - just so long as you get under TSH =3. Then mess about getting how you feel as normal as possible. You have 3 main options Synthetic T4, Synthetic T3, or Natural Dedicated Thyroid (NDT) .
