Can you post your thyroid results with the range (figures in brackets after results) and say what dose T3 you are taking? If your thyroid levels are within normal range when taking T3 replacement it indicates that you do need thyroid replacement. Unfortunately it can be difficult to get T3 prescribed on the NHS as Levothyroxine is the preferred therapy. Any private doctor should be able to prescribe Liothyronine (T3) but it is extortionately expensive at £250+ for 28 x 20mcg tablets. It is much cheaper to buy Greek or Turkish T3 online and self-medicate. PM me if you want sources.
We live in Aberdeenshire and my hubby was taken off T3 by endo at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and won't put him back on it even though his health has deteriorated. Endo said Bob was the only patient in Grampian region on T3. Endo has categorically said they won;t prescribe T3 because it causes "peaks and troughs" in the blood. I really had to restrain myself not to lecture them on homeostasis!
