T3 or NDT or both

Good Morning

Have been on NDT for 4months and longer last year. Had to stop taking it as my breathing became so bad and fatigue started to creep in again. I started taking T3 and was doing quite well on 50mcg but the endo didnt think that was healthy for me so in April put me back on NDT Here I am again back on T3 but having had blood tests I'm in a query as to what I should do T3 4 (2.6 ---5.7)

T4 9.3 (9--------19)

These results are on NDT for 4 months Still not feeling 100% but breathing easier

Any advice would be greatly appreciated Many thanks

  • Ppf3,

FT3 is low in range so you could either increase NDT dose or add some T3. If that doesn't suit and you felt better on T3 only I would switch back to T3 only.

  • Here I am again back on T3

These results are on NDT for 4 months

.....so those results are from taking both for 4 months?

  • Seems that NDT is not suitable for many. I'm sticking with T3 for the time being Hope you get yours sorted
