My dr advised me to take probiotics last thing at night. Works beautifully for me.
mandy72 And just to confuse things (as with everything it seems ) my practioner told me to take mine half an hour before breakfast. I do take it before brekky but not half an hour, usually less time.
Can I ask about your multivitamin? They're usually not recommended as they don't contain enough of anything to be of any worth. It's better to find out any deficiencies and supplement individually.
ive added a pic of the multivit
mandy72 You really don't need that.
As you're taking a B Complex (B Right - a good one ) then the B1, 2 and 3 in your Multi aren't necessary.
The D3 is misleading at 100,000iu/g ... 5mcg and 5mcg is 200iu so that's not going to do anybody any good so pretty pointless (I realise you are taking separate Vit D3).
Vit C is something that we all should be taking, it supports adrenals and has other functions too. We should be taking a good dose of that, 2000mg or more daily.
Vits A and E, if there is a need, are probably best supplemented separately.
I'd save your money and put it towards something else that we hypos do need.
Have you had B12, ferritin and folate tested? You'd be better checking those and supplementing any deficiencies there.
Hi Mandy, I always take mine before bedtime (or first thing in the morning). The idea seems to be that stomach acid is at its lowest at these times (i.e. more acidic).
