I dont take NDT but i do take levo and t3 together and if it were me and i was getting low thyroid symptoms still i would up my dose a little as your results show there is room for an increase. Im not medically qualified to tell you what you should do though! I only saying what i might do!! Hope you feel better soon.
I think your results are good but the most important question is 'how the patient is feeling'. As you are feeling a couple of symptoms a small increase might do the trick. Take note of your pulse/temp and if either changes too high, drop to the previous dose.
The method when starting NDT, is to switch to an equivalent levo dose and then increase NDT slightly every 2 weeks until you've no symptoms and feel well.
Thanks shaws and Ic1973, I think a small increase and see how I go, at least I am doing a lot better than on the Levo, and feel better sharing and getting some input, is scary really doing my own medicating, but still worth it.
Yes, we are a bit nervous 'going it alone' but, as you say, the results are well worth getting back to some kind of normal health.
We are told thyroid hormones are dangerous, but not if we take it easy. Even if someone mistakenly took too much, the effects would be so unpleasant we certainly would be extra careful that it wouldn't happen again. After all, these are only hormone replacements which are lacking in our bodies not some dangerous concoctions.
