I'm seeing my doctor at the end of the week to discuss latest bloods
TSH 0.1 (0.4 - 4.5}
T4 19.2 (10 - 24)
T3 6.2 (4 - 8.3)
I've been taking 100mg Levothyroxine since before 2 operations to remove my thyroid (Hashis with very large goitre then fast growing goitre on other side)
Didn't feel that great on it but didn't know any better. Since ops felt terrible. Dr tried - at my insistence - increasing dose but that made me feel even worse. Latest doctor has been prescribing 100mg Levo plus increasing doses of Armour thyroid since Xmas. Now taking 1 and 1/4 grains.
I feel totally different - so much better. However, I do feel slightly shaky inside for a few minutes before I get up in the morning and occasionally at other times. Am I slightly overdosed? Would reducing the Levo help? Any advice welcome.

Most things I read say that NDT takes over completely so no need at all for Levo. The NDT suppresses your TSH so your labs should be between 1 and zero.
1 and 1/4 grains of Armour is around 150 so with 100mcg levo your dose is roughly 250mcg of thyroid hormones. Some people do need higher doses and before the blood tests were introduced the usual doses were between 200 and 400mcg NDT.
I do have a thyroid gland and think that those whose gland has been removed definitely need better than levothyroxine and am glad your doctor has prescribed NDT. The more I reduced levo the better I became and NDT provides all of the hormones a healthy gland would have. At least your doctor is open to adding NDT so maybe reducing levo might work for you.
