Increase in anti tpo

I had my blood test for thyroid recently.My thyroid level went from 10 to 5.but my anti TPO level is 152 now.what does this indicate?

Do you know the range for TPOab? 152 is usually positive but I have seen 160 as the level where positive antibodies are determined.

Positive TPO antibodies means you have autoimmune thyroid disease (Hashimoto's) which causes 90% of hypothyroidism. Most GPs will make a diagnosis of hypothroidism when the patient is symptomatic with TSH >5 in the presence of positive antibodies.
