thats what my gp said ,, im going to take the test to her as soon as im mobile ,, im on day 14 and just had my clips out ,, and im sort of wobbling about on sticks as mu muscles are rather ragged ,, i dont feel all that as my immune sysem is pants but i am taking lots of suppliments to boost it,,
Are you supplementing B12 ? - as that is quite a good result. If you are supplementing though - it may not be a true result as taking supplements can skew the result.
If there was Nitrous Oxide in your anesthsetic - then you may need to be aware that it can deplete your B12.
Your Ferritin seems very low and needs to be halfway in the range. Taking some iron with VitC should improve levels. Sorry not sure about brands - others will know. If you are supplementing B12 then you also need to be taking a GOOD B Complex to keep all the B's in balance.
I think you may need an increase in your Levo/T4 too as your FT4 could be higher - even without the range - so it is a guess
i thought it wasnt as brilliant as it could be,, ive now got two metal hips and although im experiencing a level of surgical pain its nothing like the agonising osteoarthritis pain before,,
I still cant walk unaided,, as my muscles have all been pulled about and cut.and i have to get them back to somewhere near normal so i can walk without pain or a stick,,
my thyroid doesnt feel wonderful so i am going to take those results to my doctor and see what i can do to improve my health ,, i dont do operations well and i felt awful coming home after 4 days ,
I thin there are a few things that could do with a bit of help in those reading s but im currently on a month-of blood thinners and i hate that,
yes i am taking supplements as my poor little body is a bit weak, as i only had the other operation in November,,]
I also face the unemployment cue on Monday as my work will dismiss me as i wasn't able to walk ,, so stress doesnt help,
,Thankyou for your reply,, im glad theres some knowledgeable folk in this community.
I take 100 mg. of Levothyroxine. I was originally overactive but had the radioactive isotope approx. 40 yrs. ago and am now underactive. I was given steroids briefly for an overactive thyroid problem and was diagnosed with Avascular Necrosis 10 years later and had both my hip bones replaced in 1997 and 1998 respectively due to Avascular Necrosis caused by steroids.
