Hi everyone

Apologies as i know this has been asked so many times, i did used to take a number of supplements but let it slide and it was also costing me a fortune and money is rather tight at the moment.

What are the main ones for us hypo people i know from your previous advice b12 and b complex, which i will get tomorrow but what else is vit c and selenium other good ones to take.

In the past i ended up taking that many it was ridiculous and i didn't feel that much better.

I read somewhere cant remember if it was on here my memory right now is rather foggy, that selenium helps with t3 ( my t3 is in range as they say but at the low end in my opinion)

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Dotti, good levels of ferritin, vitamin D, B12 and folate enable better absorption of thyroid replacement and better conversion of T4 to T3. Ask your GP for blood tests to determine whether you need to supplement and, if so, what doses are required.

100-200mcg Selenium will help your natural thyroid function and 1,000mg vitamin C is good for the immune system. No need for testing these.
