This is my first post here after gaining much info from everyone here. Thank you.
I was diagnosed hypothyroid in October 2015. Drs tell you very little I am sorry to say have been feeling really poorly for about a year, back and forward to Drs saying I just felt that I didn`t feel balanced with now I know all the symptoms of hypothyroidism. Then they just said out of the blue with no warning what was wrong. They did tell me my TSH was 34 and around a month or so later after starting med it was 13. Now I am now on 100, mcgs levothyroxine and blood pressure meds as they took so long to diagnose me.
Had blood taken a week ago, TSH now 5.52, T4 10.6 and they have done Thyroid peroxidase antibody level which is 1077, does this mean I have hashimotos? I didn`t think to ask when I saw GP and she hasn`t mentioned it, she is lovely but doesn`t volunteer much information. I`m still feeling very tired, lethargic with all other symptoms, dry skin etc so a way to go I think?
Thank you for taking the time to read and would be lovely if anyone can reply
