Wow! No I haven't tried it, can't see it beg my thing somehow, I knew it didn't taste too good though somehow or another I think it might taste terrible and the guy did well to keep eating without screwing his face up. It looked a bit like celery the way he was eating it
Might be just me but I can just imagine everyone reading this post, visiting their local garden centres, picking off a leaf and having a nibble, if you visited different garden centres on a rota you could treat yourself at no cost at all - except perhaps a police record when the staff realised what you were up to
Good morning gg,
That poor guy has lost the outer third of his eyebrows. I wonder why?
I have a few of these plants and have to say I have used them often on
a burn or rash but I have never eaten them.
They are very easy to grow and a nice plant to look at. I remember walking in
the Canaries with a friend. The sun was at its highest and he got his forehead
burned. We had only arrived that day and didn't intend to stay out as long.
Blisters appeared very quickly. I had noticed Aloe Vera plants dotted here and there whilst walking . I went out again and picked some plump "leaves" and squeezed the sap on the blisters. We repeated that several times throughout the day. We thought that he would have to stay in the
shade for a few days but the next morning there was brand new skin formed.
It has wonderful healing properties. I have a friend who sells an extensive range of the true Aloe Vera products by Forever Living. All natural skin care, toothpaste with no fluoride, and a juice for the gut.
It has been about for years but there are a lot of imitations out there. I would of liked if that guy in the video had explained what eating the actual plant does for you but suspect it has to do with the gut.
👍
I, for one admin, am heartily sick of people who sell those products and spam sites such as here. Over the years we have had quite a number do so.
I like to put fresh aloe Vera on my hair. It makes it really healthy and shiny. I got a plant from ikea but it hasn't grown much yet. Just thinking of eating it like the guy makes my stomach turn.
They take time to get going. But once they're off, they're off! They multiply quickly, and the new shoots need repotting into individual pots in order to grow to their full - or almost - potential. They need plenty of room and plenty of light, but not direct sunlight.
I'm caring for it wrongly then! It's on the windowsill and haven't taken repott the new shoots too. So GG your advising skill go beyond thyroid/ health issues!!! Gardening too. For sure your thyroid is much better! I can't concentrate much at the moment 😊
