Your T3 has risen nicely and the fact that you feel much better is great. T4 and TSH are immaterial when you are on T3 only.
Once you have been on a stable optimum dose for a little while, I think you will now be able to lose weight through diet because your metabolism will have risen.
Why are you worried about your liver? Have you had troubling symptoms.
No not at all. But if you see my blood results its states both my numbers are out of range. I wonder if it because of all the detox supplements as back in Sept my mercury was 216!
OK, well, the ranges confused me. lol Yes, you could go a little higher. BUT how long have you been on this dose? The nearer you get to the top, the slower you need to go.
I have no idea what the coconut ketogenic diet is, but I doubt you should be doing it! Why are you so sure that your weight-gain is fat? Why do you not think it's water/mucin? The fact that you're not losing it on some sort of fad diet rather suggests that it isn't fat.
I have been at 100mcg for approx a little over 4 weeks.
The Coconut Ketogenic diet basically is a high fat, low carb and moderate protein diet. Trust me, I don't believe in diets however, because my body temp is chronically low...I thought all the extra fat could help increase my body temp and aid my thyroid. Also, aid in the weightloss.
I venture to wonder if I have the Wilsons Thyroid Symptom?
Well, even if you do have Wilson's Thyroid Symptom, there's not much more you can do to treat it.
OK, so you're not on a low-calorie diet, but maybe you need a little more protein, or a little more carbs? We're all different, as you know, so maybe you could experiement to find what's best for you in regard quantities.
So, you've been on it for 4 weeks... still not an awfully long time. But why Don't you try increasing in 1/4 tablets now, and leaving the gap longer for body chemistry to catch up? You do have room to increase.
I can't comment about the liver, because I Don't know much about livers. But you could be right about the detoxing.
So, how is the mercury now? I believe you were getting that tested, too.
Actually, I decided to wait on testing for the mercury. I would like to give it at least 3 months before I check again. I am unfortunately, now doubting my detox regimen. Maybe I need to figure out which wont tax the liver?
I also just read that Alpha Lipoic Acid can compromise T3...and I have been taking 600mg daily opps?
You describe your excess weight as 'fat'. It may not be fat but 'swelling' and this link will describe it better than I can as it was how hypo was diagnosed before the blood tests came in.
Enfrance, You're just shy of 3.42 which is the top third of range so there is room for a small increase if you feel you need it. You don't *need* to be in the top third if you feel well with it lower.
