had an appointment with the gp this morning as i wanted to enquire about my ferritin levels. turns out they were last tested in 2004 so gp has agreed to do these plus folate, vitimins and a full thyroid panel (apart from T3 which they dont do)

Sounds like a good result - I never managed to have my T3 tested on the NHS either :( I gave up and did it myself via Blue Horizon. Less stressful than begging. Also used City Assays for my vit D.

I am pleased for you as this is a whole lot easier than trying to organise your own.

Many GP's don't test T3 and so members test their own using a private lab .. Details below.

thanks to both of you non of the surgeries in my area test T3. but at least iam relieved the others will be done.
