My hair has never grown back, it's fine and thin .

How are your levels of Ferritin ? Have you had other things tested like Iron - B12 - Folate - VitD ? I notice on your Profile you also have Fibro - so where in the range is your FT3 ??

Low Ferritin can be the cause of thinning hair.

I have had blood tests done and was told everything was normal, sick of the word. I do take a Ferrous sulphate every day, no idea what my FT3 is as our doctor don't test it. My TSH was 1.55 and FT4 14, thats all I know ( only got this because I asked the nurse at our practise). I take B12 and vtamin D too.

Mine grew back bit sort of curly instead of straight as it was before! I like it!!! good luck

hi native,

i use l'oral advanced hair care line, its the only one that makes my hair soft, but i do lose hair. i also take 5000mcg biotin and 10,000iu's vit D every morning, (most people take less vitamin D but i work for a chiropractor and i follow his advice) thats just me, everyone is different, and i dont claim these things are the answer im just offering my opinion

you know what, for two years I lost crazy amount of hair because of thyroid and then it started coming back, more than before, lots of baby hairs on my scalp
