Hi, I'm guessing that you suffer from chronic insomnia based on those results.
I have had problems getting advice for my own high cortisol problems. There is no easy answer, sadly. One thing that definitely has helped me is getting my nutrient levels up to optimal levels. I also take generous doses of any vitamins which are water-soluble. I have found methylated B vitamins more helpful than standard B vitamin supplements.
Do some research into 5-HTP. It can't be mixed with anti-depressants, but since you don't take any that will not be a problem.
If you go on to Amazon and do a search for 5-HTP you can read the reviews and there are amazing numbers of them that are positive. They help with depression, but even more importantly they gradually increase your melatonin levels, and that helps with sleep.
Most 5-HTP supplements are sold in 100mg doses, but that is too much for me. Instead I buy ones which are 50mg and I take one per night. They don't work for everyone so if you buy them, buy a small quantity to begin with.
What brand and dosage of B vits are you taking? You also need plenty of vitamin C.
Hi theres not really much chance of any relaxation in this house due to the kids, im having trouble with one who will kick off for being looked at so waiting on referral for that, so supplements will have to do for the time being unfortunatly
