Trimoptin antibiotic

Anyone taken this antibiotic. I've a UTI just finished 7 days on Augmentum but infection not cleared up and have been given 7 days of Trimoptin. Have to take two a day and keep dose 12 hours apart. I take my eltroxin in the mornings at 5.30 a.m. So if I leave antibiotic till 11 a.m. and 11 p.m. will that stop it interfering with my Eltroxin. Thanks

Mauds, just checked and there are no known interactions between Trimoptin and Levothyroxine so dosing as you suggested should be fine. I hope the infection clears soon xx

Thanks Clutter there are traces of protein still in sample this is suppose to target that protein. Forgot to say thanks to everything you and the rest on this site taught me my 18 year old niece has finally got her medication. Only through what you all taught me we would have never stood against the endo who kept telling the child it was all in her head. He finally admitted yesterday after a year that she should be medicated. Thank you all so much.

Mauds, hopefully this antibiotic will clear the infection. Good news re your niece. Shame she was kept waiting for treatment though.

A full year Clutter before the endo would listen. Same fella tried to make out it was all in her head. I still dread to think if I hadn't been educated by you all what the outcome would have been for her. Thanks to you and all the admin team for your great support to us all
