Actually, those look pretty good. You're not on any thyroid meds?

They look normal to me too. Why did you get them done? Do you have symptoms?

Breckland, they look very good. TSH is normal for someone not on meds and your FT4 and FT3 are well over half way in range.

Thank you all! No, I'm not on any thyroid meds (never taken any).

Just some strange symptoms (mostly tiredness that we're all familiar with!). I'll be exploring other possible causes, so will hopefully get this thing nailed!

Btw, I had these done at Blue Horizon (the full thyroid profile).

Pretty good but look at full iron panel and B12 and post those please with references.

The usual serum B12 test:

1177 ng/L Range: 130.0 - 1100.0

I don't have a full iron profile.

The B12 result is off the scale. Are there any possible issues with that? My Dr seems to think it's fine.

Not sure! I know you cant overdose with B12 as any extra is flushed through but that's not the same as being high. Tiredness though can be because you are anaemic so the red cells aren't carrying enough oxygen round your body or you aren't storing any iron properly. Your GP should test that if you tell him you are tired.

Thank you. I'll should be getting a proper B12 test soon, to see if my body is utilizing it properly. I'll also look into the iron.

Not what you're looking for?
