To me sounds so dumb they started you at 25mcg, with your thyroid like that...In the beginning my thyroid was like not even at 5.0 yet, and they started me at 75...Mind you they made me wait a whole year before they gave me any meds for my thyroid, and I gained weight pretty quickly. (gp just gave me Zoloft for depression, and I wasn't depressed)...They never even said how often to be checked...
I hope you feel better soon, because when its all out of wack you sure feel YUK!
the dr whos dealing with my thyroid is hypo herself so you would think she would have more sense but no she said low dose and increase at each blood test
weight is piling on me faster than anything and i have zero energy, i had one dr ask about exercise and i told her i get out the chair and up the stairs fr toilet and that does me in
i dont sleep so was given trazdone last year and it worked a treat, few weeks ago it stopped working so dr increased my dose and i was like a zombie next day
anxiety, depression and paranoia are at an all time high
on 20mg prozac and now on herbal sleeping tablets as trazadone was stopped
hopefully soon i can come off prozac and sleeping tablets
Some gp are super weird, and I just don't understand them at all...
If the herbal sleeping things don't work, you might try motion sickness pills that you buy over the counter...In Canada they are called gravol pills, but are dimenhydrinate 50mg...try one or 2 for sleep with some milk....they last about 6 hours, and are harmless...
Well all the good gp are retiring over here in BC, Canada...Many new ones seem afraid to touch you, and just give pills...I think they seem to see you for like 10 minutes.. Yup try the motion sickness pills maybe at some point, but just the ordinary 50 mg dimenhydrinate...1or 2 pills...They make these other 24 hour kind, they are awful...Regular are best, without the ginger...
