As always looking for ways to improve my symptoms with this hypothyroidism and came across this site.

Curious to know if anyone has tried it?

Thank you.

I haven't. It sounds good but you have to pay $197 upfront reduced from $597.

indeed, that's why I was curious to know if anyone else on here had taken the plunge and gotten good results. I am sorely tempted as I can't seem to find any doctor on my island here, the cost of a flight then paying for a private doctor elsewhere or trying this ..... hmmmm ... or something completely different altogether.

There is a 30 day money back guarantee and there are reviews at the bottom of the page. If, as you say, there is a difficulty where you live to get some decent thyroid assistance it may be worth it.

There is also a payment plan if you use Paypal. She did say she reversed her symptoms of Hashimotos.

If you decide to try, we look forward to the results of your 'experiment'.

I mistrust anything with a fake higher price. I'll take very large bets that the price always has been, and always will be, $197.

You are most probably right but if we don't have an alternative it may be tempting.

I did read about it and quite liked her approach - not too Paleo and not too Gluten free - which may appeal to those of us that find both too daunting :-) Have you signed up for the initial bit that is free - may give you an idea as to whether you wish to continue ?

I am sure I have signed up for something from there... I will research a little more and let you all know. Thanks for all your helpful replies :)

Have you read this book and signed up for her Newsletter ?

Yes I have signed up for this one already ... it seems to have some good information. Haven't yet bought the book though.

Been trying to find somewhere to buy T3 over here but so far none of the chemists know what I'm looking for :(

Liothyronine is the name for T3.... point to your thyroid when you ask :-)

I wrote it down on paper and hand it over to them, they do check on their computer to see if the stock it but I haven't yet found a chemist who does. At least I can get levo but looks like my body needs some T3 now I'm getting older...

I think that Spanish for liothyronine is Liotironina.

i found a link on here that has a list of the names all over the world ... it had triyodotironina on it, may be that's why the chemists can't find it in their stock because I have the wrong name.

I can get T4 no problem at all.

For reasons that really are not clear, T3 as a substance in your blood is called tri-iodothyronine, but as a medicine is most often called liothyronine. (And, quite bizarrely, injectable T3 also often gets called tri-iodothyronine.)

Whereas T4 is usually called levothyroxine or thyroxine whether it is in your blood or a tablet.

I absolutely agree with your translation but as you now realise, it is unlikely to be recognised by an average pharmacist.

The other thing to do is ask for the main brand names:

Cytomel

Cynomel

TiTre

etc.

This Spanish page might help:

vademecum.es/equivalencia-l...

Thank you for your help with this ... I really appreciate it.

I'll bet there will be little u cannot find out yourself online, like via this forum, or that u dont already know. Read the blurb carefully and you'll see what i mean.

Afraid that for me it ticks every one of my "too good to be true" warning signs.

* A very, very long page (very good for getting hits from search engines - whatever you are looking foris likely on that page somewhere).

* Full of everything you want to read.

* So self-aware and knowing that it even sets up its own scam page:

dailyscamreviews.com/the-ra...

* A text-book piece of marketing.

* An outrageous extension of "what worked for me" to "what will work for you, whoever you are and (almost) whatever is wrong with you".

* A money-back offer with the condition "If you’ve not seen any positive changes in your mood, fitness, weight or energy, within the first 30 days,..." - so even the tiniest glimmer of anything being better means you can't claim.

* A very cutesy name.

* Lots of pictures of the person you'd like to think you could be.

* Stacks of placed "reviews" and other forms of mentions/links/etc. which crowd out any other comments (i.e.real ones).

* Buy now because...

The trouble is that it is almost impossible to find out enough to make an assessment of the approach itself. So we are forced to use what she herself presents. And I am turned off by it.

Thanks Rod ... there are so many out there, just feeling so low and not able to find any T3 over here or any doctor who can help me :(

So many people here are, or have been, in such hard places. It makes us all easy pickings to those who want to make money out of us. (Though some may actually offer something that is quite decent.)

I was just listening to a program on the radio about the money side of "self help". Astonishing numbers.
