I don't really know anything about this and feel dubious. If it is genuine then the price is remarkably good. bionetics.co.uk/bionetics/T...

Hair testing is quack medicine and will merely tell you what's in your hair on that given day; it won't tell you anything about the overall state of your health. To give you a real-life example, I had a friend who owned a Shetland pony. The horse took ill one day and exhibited nothing but lassitude and a runny nose. It was poorly and had mucus, but otherwise there was nothing to determine its problem. Instead of calling a vet, she sent off a hair sample which duly, in a fortnight, came back. The horse was still ailing and the hair sample 'diagnosed' various deficiencies and advocated a range of homeopathic tablets, which she duly administered. The horse continued to be ill for another couple of weeks until they found it dead in the field.

The horse had died of pneumonia/pleurisy (I forget which one now, but the nasal mucus might have been a giveaway). The hair testing had neither correctly diagnosed the horse's illness, nor provided the correct medicine. That's hair testing.

The problem with hair testing, as far as I can see, is that the results will be determined by what is in your shampoo, when you last washed it, whether you have used hair spray or conditioner etc.

I also wonder where the reference ranges are derived from, and how they are cross-checked with other methods of testing.

If someone walks along a busy road to the bus stop on the way to work every morning, then their hair may well absorb all sorts of nasties. Someone else may do the same. But what if the first person is an unfit mouth breather who puffs and pants and sucks in traffic fumes, and the other person is a super-fit athletic type, who breathes slowly through their nose. Their hair will reflect the same pollution, but their bodies may be polluted to entirely different degrees.

I hear ya! Reminds me when I took my cat to a homeopathic vet where all else had failed.
