How to take B12 right way?

I would love to learn what is the proper way to take B12? It noted on the bottle: with food. What kind of food will be more suitable?

Also, my daughter has started her iron, combined with Vit C, taking it on evenings. How properly to combine it with the B12?

Thank you

Victoria, I take all my supplements together immediately I finish eating. Food, any food, helps absorption of vitamins and minerals.

Depending on your age, B12 becomes extremely difficult, if not impossible, to absorb.

Therefore sublingual tablets is the only alternative (apart from injections, ouch!)

By placing the tablet/s under your tongue, to dissolve on their own, allows absorption

through the fine skin under your tongue.

It works. I do it every day to keep my levels up (and if I forget, my radiation-induced

incontinence returns until I get my levels up again).

It doesn't matter what time of day you use them, as they don't need to rely on, or to

avoid, digestion, to be absorbed, as most other tablets do.

And they're cheap :)

Try it, you'll be glad you did.

If you supplement with B12 and I use sublingual too, you must purchase only methylcobalamin B12 not cyanocobalamin.

When researching B12 yesterday, I read that Vitamin C should not be taken together with Vitamin B12 but at least half an hour apart.

you need to take Folic Acid when supplementing with B12. They work together in the body. Injections are not painful - depends on the person administering. You could always learn yourself - 47 pages of instructions on
