Hi everyone These are my latest results – Graves post RAI in March:

TSH u.s. . . . . . . . . . . 24,350 µUI/mL (0,270 à 4,200)

T3 LIBRE . . . . . . . . . . 1,40 pg/mL (2,00 à 4,40)

T4 LIBRE . . . . . . . . . . 0,50 ng/dL (0,93 à 1,70)

Until now the results have been in the normal spectrum but I imagine I ought to now go to the doctor and get some T4 to start with. I actually feel okay but have been slightly tired.

Thanks

Lizmag, you've gone very hypothyroid with high TSH and very low FT4 and FT3 and need T4. It'll take 3/4 weeks to bring down your TSH but longer to raise your FT4 and FT3. Take it easy driving until your TSH is in range as TSH>20 can impair driving more than being over the alcohol limit.

Ask for your ferritin, vitamin D, B12 and folate to be tested too, as good levels are required for T4 absorption and T4 to T3 conversion.

Thanks Clutter - I can see the doc on Saturday and I won't be driving over the next few days anyway and then not very far. It's weird as the blood test before was 5/6 weeks ago and was just fine! Apart from a bit of general fatigue and a stomach ache / nausea I feel okay. My pulse rate seems normal, even a bit quick at times?!
