it is NatureTHROID (not thyroid), it is natural desiccated thyroid hormone. It is derived from pigs thyroid (dried up and processed), it contains both T4 and T3, here is the official website of the manufacturer:

From what I can gather its another brand of ndt. I was advised to take either erfa or nature throid I've just noticed that auto correct must have altered it! Lol x

Thank you. Is it better than thyroxine? I've had various thyroid disorders for over 20 years but never heard of it before. Does a Dr prescribe it? Thank you x

Randomthoughts, natural dessicated thyroid isn't licensed for use in the UK so few NHS doctors will prescribe it. Most members using it pay for private prescriptions or buy it without prescription from online pharmacies.

If you aren't feeling well on thyroxine post a Question with your recent thyroid results and the lab ref ranges and say how much Levothyroxine you are taking and members will advise.
