B12 supplement - no change yet!

I have been taking 2 x Solgar 1000mcg Sublingual Methylcobalamin nuggets every day for about 3 weeks now, but really don't feel any different - tingling is just the same:( Is it safe to up the dose to 3 per day?

Last blood test I had done B12 was 268 and folate 10.8.

Am I expecting too much too soon?

Twitchen, 3 weeks is too soon to feel any improvement on 1,000mcg. I'd up to 5,000mcg a day for a month to top up or until you feel some improvement and then cut back to 2-3,000mcg. You won't OD on B12 as any excess is excreted.

Are you taking folate as welle. You should take the two together

No just the B12. Folate level was 10.8, which I thought was pretty good.

Is there a reason why the two should be taken together then?

My understanding is that the B12 is better absorbed if you take folate at the same time. No doubt others will correct me if I am wrong about this
