NDT :-)

Hello, I just wanted to say I have been on NDT for 36 days. Yesterday I saw a few hairs growing back at my hairline. I am a hairdresser so I take this very seriously. It looked like someone had pressed their finger on my hairline and the hair fell out. Growing back now. I went to London yesterday to see John Edward the medium, (he was really good) and it was so hot on the train but I made it there and back with energy to spare. Oh thank you to all of you who have helped me, posted to me, advised me. Comforted me. I am now on 3/4 a grain, and I feel so much better. I have days that I still itch but not like it was before, I am actually sleeping for the first time in my life. My eyes are way better and I can wear mascara again. Gonna stay on this amount of NDT for awhile. I feel good, yesterday I didn't have to take pain killers until really late in the day, and today I have not had to take any, prob will later but that is ok. I so hope all you girls and guys feel better too, I took my health in my own hands, I had been so ill for so many years almost lost EVERYTHING, really. I went private, tho that doc didn't do anything to help, I read my own blood numbers, got a scan of my goitre, (I knew it was there) I ordered NDT online and it was the best thing I have EVER done for myself. I know every day won't be perfect but it is a long way off from the last ten years and feeling like I was at the end of my rope. Still have a ways to go, but I can see the light now. Thanks ya'll Rita x

Well done Rita - lovely to hear you are going on so well - hope it continues. I have been feeling like the 'walking (did I say walking? - wish I had the energy!) dead' this past year - tried all the levothyroxine available plus T3; still ill. Hoping to try NDT after seeing Dr P next month. Best wishes x
