Hi Karen178

Can you expand on your question a bit.

I'm suffering from a horrid reaction to the meds (rheumatic pain) and feel constantly tired someone suggested I check my b12. Wanted to know if there's a link

All autoimmune diseases are linked, if you have one you're way more likely to have another, or several more. B12d can be autoimmune in origin which is called Pernicious Anaemia. In Graves disease there is also an increased demand for B12 and other vits and minerals, since your system is bowling along at 100 miles an hour. And finally autoimmune atrophic gastritis (low stomach acid) is common in Graves disease, this leads to B12d/PA as well.

This is from Elaine Moore's website:

And a link about B12d:

Thank you x I really wish there was a thyroid nurse (like asthema and diabetes) to tell you all this stuff feeling very scared if I'm honest with what's going on with my body!

It can be overwhelming, and Graves Disease is exhausting - your body is running a marathon even though you are sitting still. People don't always get this, they think we're going to be wired and full of nervous energy. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Rest up, avoid stress, and read as much about Graves as you can (I assume your hyper is Graves)? Ask to have your key vits and minerals tested - B12, folate, iron/ferritin, vit D/calcium. Get a Coeliac screen. Consider changing your diet (a paleo style diet is often recommended).
