A friend of mine has been diagnosed with fibromyalgia after a whiplash accident and she would like to be properly tested for hypo. Apart from TSH, T3 and T4 which tests would she need for Hashi. antibodies? Many thanks, Jax

Yes, the antibodies
Your friend should have an antibodies blood test. I know of an expert who said that sometimes after whiplash it may have damaged the thyroid gland some can develop a thyroid gland dysfunction.

The anti-bodies are Anti-TPO and Anti-Tg....
Also have VitD B12 Ferritin Folate Iron tested too - it may help current symptoms. All need to be near the TOP of their ranges....
I know TPO means Thryoid Peroxidare anti-body but what does Anti-tg mean ? Thanks.
