This is my second post today so I do apologise but just wanted a sanity check. I had my thyroid out 4 years ago due to Graves. I am currently on 175mcg of combined. I take a high does multi vitamin (includes B12 complex which I have found sorts out the occasional heart palpitations I was getting). I also take 1000mg of starflower oil each day as following my diagnosis of Graves I noticed I was getting quite lumpy boobs and after a couple of "scares" that turned out to be cysts a nurse suggested start flower oil (amazing stuff, no lumps and no achey boobs). Anyway what I have never been able to shift since being diagnosed all the time ago is a lack of motivation, tiredness etc. I struggle in the mornings (big time) and by 3pm I could sleep anywhere. I am 39, so by no means old but some days I feel like I am in my 70's. TSH is done every 3 months and all appears okay. I am really frustrated because before I was diagnosed I was at the gym everyday. I am also increasingly forgetful or rather am lacking in clarity of thought these days. Is it just growing older, am I imagining things, or is this how it is going to be for the rest of my days?

Hi ST, I'll just take a shot since there are so many roads to thyroid problems. Maybe you will relate to this article. There are suggestions you may wish to try.
Hello, hmmm I had heard that but my GP will not test things like that unless my tsh level is abnormal. If my this outside ofmthenprescribed range then I get full tsh testing and full blood chemistry. Sx
