After being ridiculously exhausted after 10 hours sleep I decided to try NDT. I did a straight swap from my T4/T3 combination... No need to stagger as already been taking T3 for 3 years.
Anyway I feel no different at all... Is 10 days enough time to see a difference?
I think maybe you nee to take slightly more NDT then you would synthetic
I was taking 125T4 and 40T3 so I now take 3 grains of naturethroid plus supplement the T3
You should never do a straight swap but take a small dose of NDT and build up as though you were first taking thyroxine. This is possibly because the T3, T2 etc. in the NDT is a shock to your system. Try back tracking and lowering your dose, build it up after 3 weeks of taking one dosage, increase it by 25 mcg and take that for 3 weeks then increase till you get to your 'sweet spot' where you feel 'normal'!!
