How much T3 are you taking? It seems as though you need a higher dose as your T3 is below range and TSH not as low as one would expect with a T3 only protocol, (although hard to be sure without the reference range). Are you self medicating or has an endo prescribed? More info please. Thanks.
I agree with Hennerton but how do you feel?
How much T3 are you taking ??
GP has tonight upped theT3 dose to 20mg in a.m. and 10mg at pm and asked me to have more bloods done in 3/4 weeks. Said he will put me up by small increments and see how it goes.
Sounds like a good doctor.
I also have chronic sciatica and he has suggested surgery but I have said no. I am v hopeful about the way he is cooperating about my thyroid problems
If you don't feel a considerable improvement make sure you book the bloods in 3 weeks.
The T3 meds suppress FT4 so that's not anything to worry about.
Progress and T3 does need to be increased slowly. I've just upped mine to 3x20mg and I am feeling much better for it.xx
What were you on before Beaton? Glad you are improving.
Well, after I fell out with the endo. in January I decided to go T3 only. Jan.15 2x10, Feb1 3x10, Feb21 2x10 1x10 1x10. did BP,HR,and temps with Paul Robinson. Then March upped to 3x20,no side effects or overmed. signs. I don't see an endo.(new one) until june/july time. But I am feeling so much better, even singing to myself in the kitchen after breakfast, don't think I've ever done that before.
Take it slowly and your GP seems like he may play ball, tell him I said he's to look after you.xx
Thanks for that Clutter.

For someone taking 100 mcg of T3, we expect your pattern of lab results—a low TSH and high T3. However, your TSH and T3 levels are irrelevant to whether you're overstimulated or not. Two studies we just completed confirm other researchers findings: these tests are not reliable gauges of a patient's metabolic status
Thanks Shaws.
