I don't know what the big deal is.i emailed them and they went to my gp and he said he would willingly write a letter to a private endo-just to get money out of me?youd think they would do it for a small fee

Local private hospital charged me £15 a couple of years ago. Janet.

Hi My GP will do mine. Otherwise, ask BH to change it for a DIY kit, slightly dearer, main site. It is a finger prick test but uses a little phial of blood , so fine.Do not use a private hospital to take the blood,cost.

i think my gp is just being b----- minded .he refuse sto refer me to a derm as A&E suggested I should see one.i just asked the surgery a question about my medical notes and they said i would have to speak to my dr ?why?.i am entitled to get copies if I want to.

think he s frightened for whatever reason cos he knows hes in the wrong.??not sure I could do a finger prick test?would need someone else to do it.

Hi finger prick really easy. have a glass of water half an hour before, run fingers under hot water, simple!Bloods you should always be able to get the results but for notes, , ask the practice manager, they make you wait and charge.

I had a terrible GP fortunately left now.Nothing to the problem with "heart failure docs", the Maffia, ignorant and just want to kill me!

not sure if the pm will do anything,teh only time she responded to me was the first time I complained.afetr that she referred everything back to my gp.thanks for the tip.what effect does drinking water have?
