Blue horizons tests query?

Hi all

I usually order the full panel including vitamins and both antibodies. I just wondered if there was a test that did the main thyroid tests (tsh ft4 and ft3 )plus vitamins but not antibodies as they're always positive so i think its not really necessary to keep testing those. Please correct me if i'm wrong.

No, antibodies are always included in those test bundles by Medichecks, Blue Horizon (maybe others, I don't use any other one). The price is so reasonable that it wouldn't make much difference if they left them out, maybe a pound or two.

Thanks for the reply. I do already have the full blue horizons test to use. I just thought for future use there maybe was an alternative one.

Also is it a year you have to use the blue horizons one? I purchased it in Jan but due to covid nurse home visits aren't available at the moment.

Yes, 12 months to use a Blue Horizon test. With Medichecks it's 6 months.

Just check the date on the tube to make sure it's not expired. If it has they'll send you a new kit out free of charge.
