I am hypo and continually caught colds. Both my GP and an alternative medicine practitioner advised taking vitamin D3 daily. Although the daily required dose is stated as 400 international units (iu) this is the minimum to keep the body alive. I take 5000 iu daily and my wife takes 1000 iu and we no longer catch colds. You can buy them on amazon in packs of 365 and they are very inexpensive.

Particularly important in winter months when we are starved of sunlight to our skin which is the primary source of our natural intake.

There are lots of providers. I use PureNature which is manufactured in the UK under GMP code of practice.

Hi try taking zinc, the body is very short of minerals, modern farming etc. Zinc is very safe.
