I managed to get the print out from the Doc. I appear to be low in folate. How do I remedy that? Thanks Sheenah

Would it be possible to post your results with ranges. There may be some hidden information amongst the other results linked to the low folate. People can advise better when they have more information. Glad you have the print-out....
If you're deficient GP needs to prescribe 5mcg folic acid daily for 4 months or until in range (my scrip was 4 weeks but folate was high in range at next test).
If you're low in range you'll need to self supplement via Amazon, pharmacy or health shop. Was your B12 tested too? They're co-dependant and if both are low in range it is best to supplement both. Make sure you get B12 methylcobalamin if you need to supplement.
What Clutter said Mine was really low and I had to go back to the doctor to point out that I was actually deficient not just low in range and that what I could buy over the counter was never going to dig me out of deficiency. He just smiled at me and said "of course" which really ticked me off because if he knew that was the case then why oh why did he not prescribe it in the first place?!?!
So yeah if you are under range demand 5 mg of folic acid for 4 months and that should do the trick
Chihiro, how d'you do the angry face?
