This post has a really simple video which explains the essential vitamins you need and why - it would be a good start to take a look.

I have just watched this video and for the first time since being diagnosed with hypo (3 years ago) I finally understand it better... my blood test of my Vit D came back low a few months ago now .. but when I addressed this with a doctor he just said theres nothing to worry about and its fine but if you like you can buy over the counter Vit D.... he was completely disinterested or had any knowledge about thyroid issues.. I feel utterly let down by the doctors at my surgery.. thank you for sharing this link..
Hi, ive just been told im peri menopausal as I had my Estrogen checked and its low - I am on HRT patches after a full hysterectomy five years ago. Im hypo too, borderline and am having alsorts of odd symptoms etc... glad you asked this question
x
Hi there... I had a hysterectomy 25 years ago when I was 20 ..ovaries the lot... I too am on HRT patches .. have been for all those years and now had hypo for last 3 years... talk about having hot flushes and overheating it awful...as well as all sorts of symptoms too... fibro is really bad at the mo too....am must keep up with taking my vitamins...you take care of yourself.. best wishes sandy. x
Ur welcome I feel tired and in pain most of the time
That's terrible! so have the vitamins helped at all? im taking Bit B12, and a multi vit. but my body isn't usually good with vits and minerals or drugs! although the small amount of levo is really helping, esp the horrendous fatigue I had before xmas!! so debilitating! now I have bad pains in my legs though.....
Try Aloe Vera to alleviate your tiredness. It contains 75 active ingredients and boosts the immune system.
I drink it every morning.

I think that little video is excellent, it really shows what you need and why.
I'm not taking any thyroid meds at the moment - stopped B&R a few months ago - but I take (and have taken since I was first diagnosed ) 1000mcg vitamin c with zinc - the slow release kind. I also take co-q10, an A-Z multivitamin, a sublingual B12, my vitamin D spray and I eat four or five Brazil nuts a day. Costs a bit but I feel good and I put that down to the bits - especially after watching that video. x
between us all we could rule the world ............ its so good to learn from you guys.. I must get me some nuts.. B12 gives me spot on my face... anyone else suffer from that... I need B12 but cant tolerate it on my skin.. big hug to you all especially if your having a bad day..
