Hello, I've just had my recent test results back and as usually am a little puzzled.
If anyone could spare a few moments to comment, I would be grateful.
I'm currently taking a combination of T4 and T3 daily. I feel a lot less tired and have more clarity when taking the T3 so feel it's working for me. However, I've noticed some changes in my results and ranges and would appreciate some guidance.
TSH: 0.0.1 Range: 0.27-4.20mU/L
FT4: 12.90 Range: 12-22 pmol/L
FT3: 5.60 Range: 4.0 -6.8 pmol/L
Do these appear OK? Do I need to be concerned about bone loss or any other potential problems?
Thanks

I have read that once you are taking T3 the test results are not so helpful ! The TSH will be suppressed and GP's usually react by reducing dose. I am T3 only so do not have tests anymore - more important to go with how you feel and check the vitamins and minerals from time to time.... Of course we are all different and hopefully someone with more experience than me will be along to advise....
Don't worry about your bones - there has always been negative reports about T3 and bones and hearts.... Low T3 causes more problems than an in range T3....
I have been T3 only for over a year now and I think the answer has to be yes - I do feel better. I have also increased B12 with patches and VitD so lots of things contributing to the well being....
