My muscles seem to be burning me especially my shoulder and upper back muscles.
The burning gets worse if heat is applied. The heat from drying my hair sest them on fire, when normally this does not happen. Im low in Vit D 25 (range 60-150). Could this be causing the burning.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks

Hi yorkshiregirl, For several years I suffered with this. It was before I knew anything about free T3 or antibodies or anything. Hopefully patients are a lot more knowledgeable and can avoid these pitfalls.
You can click on the right body parts but the process seems to be the same.
I have had a similar problem , I have read that having Low B12 can be an Issue, or maybe being over medicated, when I say over medicated I don't mean that maybe your dose is to high but the dose you are taking isn't all getting in properly x
Hi I also had burning in my shoulder. For me it started with an over dose of meds they put me on 137 to start. I had to go off the meds for a week or so..... then they started slowly with me. Now a year later just raised my meds to 100. I have had the burning for a year..... on and off.... more on than off. Seems the last week or two I am finally getting relief. I have taken the advise of this sight to take Vita d..b12..and I take multi and extra c....cod liver oil..probiotic...and I feel thats what has really made the difference. Never felt anything like it in my life. I feel for you. I am no expert.....My legs even feel better since the vita......It all seems to take time. I wish you well. 5858
