Thank you for all the interest shown in wanting to start a support group.
We are meeting in the Lounge/bar area at St Pauls Hotel, Peace Gardens Sheffield. In the lounge there are comfy lounge seats and facilities to purchase hot or cold drinks, limited light snacks like nuts but not food. The hotel has a relaxed feel and is usually quiet.
St Pauls Hotel is right in the centre of the city in the main shopping area with easy access to buses, and trains. Car parking is available in the municipal car parks or John Lewis have a car park close by.
So do come along and join us for an informal chat and perhaps a coffee/tea if you fancy. You can always wander off for a spot of shopping afterwards!!!
Look forward to seeing you all.

It is indeed -you will see (& hear) the peace gardens which are next to the town hall -walk through them past the fountain and the hotel is at the back next to some large metal spherical balls with water cascading slowly over them
Great -Ecogran -look forward to meeting you. yes lets hope the weather has improved -Dare i say that it has been drier the last couple of days....or is that tempting fate! he he
Thank you to everyone who came along or who showed an interest in coming to our get together today. We had a lovely time. Everyone was very friendly and liked the informal coffee/tea and chat, central quiet location with easy access to transport. The hotel staff were very nice and let us be -so we didn't feel at all pressured to move on as soon as our drinks were finished. It was also really good that those with overactive as well as underactive thyroid conditions were represented in our little group's midst.
We decided we would really like to meet up again so if you fancy please do pop the next date below in your diaries!!! We 'd love to see you
Saturday 26th April 2014 at 11.00am in bar area at St Paul's Hotel, Sheffield.
I'll pop a separate post up too - as this post won't even let me highlight underline or put in bold....lol....never mind!!!
