TSH 0.53 (range 0.5-4.5) FT4 16.4 (range 12.2-22.2)

I had a repeat TSH done a couple of weeks ago which came back 1.1 (FT4 not checked.)

From your personal experience what would you say to my results from back in 2012 and what would you assume as my TSH has gone up this year?

going by what i have read if your TSH goes up in theory the FT4 would go down? is this correct?

suppose i'm trying to guess the results of my next blood test before i have even had it! (bloods being drawn on thursday)

Thank you, I will be getting a full blood test as above mentioned this is booked for Thursday. The results above are from my last drs (I have moved practice, it's because of this move that I was made aware of health issues, if I hadn't moved I would still be none the wiser) I was just asking if someone would be able to tell if my ft4 may have decreased since June 2012 knowing my tsh has increased since then (from 0.53 to 1.1) I am not after a diagnosis from anyone on here as that's for my doctor I was just wondering if this could be the case from others personal experience. Ranges from my previous results are above as well.

Hello boop, in answer, that is what happens with me, when TSH goes up my FT4 and FT3 both go down hope that helps

Thank you for your reply. I am still trying to get diagnosed. The results above are from my previous surgery. I have recently moved surgery and it was with this move that i was made aware of my high blood pressure and thankfully the Dr i am now under seems to know what she's doing. Seeing that my TSH has increased from june last year and my FT4 was on the low side last year she has ordered TSH FT4 and FT3 to be re-done. Hopefully after these results are back i can finalyl get the treatment needed for me to feel better and get my body back to normal (or as close to normal as possible) It was also with the mention of strong family history that she ordered the bloods.
