I have started to get these in the last 2 months, never having had them in my life before.
I am not sure if these are more symptoms of Hypothyroidism, or new ones for the Sjogren's.

Yep!! The worst one comes up right in the middle of my bottom lip & is agony!! Thank goodness for Bonjela!!
I'm still struggling to get all of my various levels up into "normal" range & have read that they're probably due to those as Hampster1 has mentioned.
Hope you soon get some replief :o)
Hi It can be low B12, needs to be high in range. Also possible it is Caeliac disease, there is a blood test but not always reliable. Often if you think you have that you just have to try the diet for 6 weeks, not before a test though. They are both autoimmune, tend to go with thyroid disease.
Best wishes,
Jackie
I used to get them all the time but I only get them occasionally (like anyone!) since starting Levo - I haven't increased B12 though. I also use Forever Living toothpaste which has bee propolis in and I think that's helped too as it's a natural antibacterial agent. Hope you can find some relief, they are horrible!
This site says it can help with mouth problems. I've got some to try and improve my sensitive teeth (normal 'sensitive' toothpaste being a waste of time). But the toothpaste is primarily for the sort of problems you describe. Hope you find a more permanent solution - but in the meantime this may be helpful?
I've always had them but only occasionally, now since being diagnosed with hypo i get them all the time, especially if I bite my lip or cheek
Previously I used adcortyl in orabase which was brilliant. Now not available.
Tried all preparations, found Orabase the best, although a bit messy. Best applied at bedtime when it gets a chance to work for longer.
Had to order it at boots, took a week or so to arrive.
