Thought other hypo sufferers might be interested in these really interesting links, as sea buckthorn, being very high in fatty acids, is alleged to have many benefits for mucous membranes, immune system, chronic inflammation, weight, etc. which seem to be part of the hypo pattern:

There's lots of it around this year, too. The bushes are all full of berries - hard ot pick as they squash very easily, but it's a favourite with many local authorities so there's probably some near you (little light orange berries and leaves that look a bit like rosemary).
Thanks, I'll look out for them. Apparently, the reason the oil is more expensive is that the berries are diificult to harvest. Someone posted a link on here for reasonably priced coconut oil and I noticed they also do sea buckthorn oil at a good price too - Okama Skin Care UK.
