does hypothyrodism cause dizziness.?
I suggest you have a look at the symptom list for hypothyroidism on the main Thyroid UK site:
thyroiduk.org.uk/tuk/about_...
The list includes " Vertigo, Balance problems, Dizziness". So the answer is that while hypothyroidism can cause dizziness, it is very, very important to be sure that other possibilities are checked out.
Full recovery can take quite a while.

I had dizziness and nausea but only in the morning which subsided about 11 am at first Doctors put in down to ear problems which was quite funny cause surly if I had that it would be like it day and night. I am also on 25mg daily and can honestly say it's gone. I was suffering for months with this still have many of the other symptoms but overall a little better. xx
I suffer this exactly when hypo. Has improved as my replacement dose increased but returned recently as I have had to reduce my dose due to palpitations. It gradually subsided with each dose increase but I think this may vary with each individual.
