This is my first test since I started the t3 and I wasn't sure what to expect. Is it normal for the t4 to be so low? I would ask my doctor but I'm having no luck getting in touch (this is often a problem).
On one hand, my oedema and constipation have resolved since going on t3, which is great. They were very irritating symptoms and I'm glad to see the back of them. I'm also sleeping really well. I was hoping I'd feel a bit more energetic though. I'm still pretty tired.
Many thanks all. x

I am not medically qualified but your results look to me what you would expect when adding T3 - a low TSH and T4 and higher T3.
It is good that you have found it of benefit and hope your GP doesn't adjust your dose due to your low TSH. My TSH is 0.01 and the lab blood test said 'adequate levothyroxine' even though I take Natural Dessicated. When on levo, the more I reduced it and increased the T3 the better I became.
Thanks shaws. Good! I hope to try a bit more t3/less t4 when I get in new supplies. Doc wanted to see me on 20mcg per day but I haven't got enough left to try it (also a little concerned about pushing my t3 too high). After I complained about not being able to get in contact I got a reply to my email in only minutes, so I spoke too soon.
Doc thinks numbers look good and suggests continuing to treat the adrenals and at next visit can be 'more aggressive' (whatever that means).
