Still Fat

I just got my blood results back,I think they are good,TSH 0.023 and T4 12.7 (range 11-24). This is after my GP upped my meds. SO why have I lost no weight,feel like I'm bursting out of my skin and have a blancmange on my front.I'm G.F. and a veggie so not much else I can give up.

What are you taking? Your T4 is rather low in the range. If you are on T3, I would expect that, and your low TSH, but if you are on levo you might be on too low a dose still.

Hi Carolyn, I'm taking 20 mcg.T3 and 50 mcg T4 Twice a day. I'm feeling better than I was.

Ok. That would explain the low T4 Is your doctor open to you having an increase in dose? It might just be that you need a little more T3 or T4.

He will be ringing me on Thursday to discuss the results.I feel better than I did but not 100%.I don't think he will want to increase my dose but perhaps I can persuade him.
