MORE RESULTS OF ANOTHER FRIEND !! ADVICE PLEASE .....

These are the results of a young lady of 25 I know here in Crete. She is depressed and has had a difficult time emotionally. Her Mum has a thyroid problem and had a TT years ago. It's also very common in the Mum's family who are in Germany.

RESULTS: TSH 1.35 Range 0.25 - 5.00 FT3 4.89 Range 2.50 8.30 FT4 11.84 Range 7.70 - 18.80 Anti-bodies within range....

B12 410 Range 197 - 866 Folic Acid 9.6 Range >7 Ferritin 37.8 Range 10 - 160

Vit D3 47 Range 20 - 57

Advice that I can show the Mum would be appreciated - as Doctors here would also say that everything is 'NORMAL ' - and as we can see most things are in range but some are low....

Clinical symptoms - weight gain, coarse skin, puffy eyes, painful joints, low mood, tired, irregular sleep pattern - waking up at all hours, bad memory ......

You remind me of Typhoid Mary. Thyroid Marz. Hmmm - all tooooo similar.

Does everyone around you drop down with thyroid issues as soon as they see you?

Doesn't everyone in Germany have a lack of "jod"? Hence half the country take thyroid hormone. (Or whatever the numbers really are.)

If she is someone who feels better with higher levels of thyroid hormone, then those numbers could be making her feel quite bad, in my opinion. Think it is one of those cases where a trial will be the only possible answer - unless tests change significantly.
