Loosing body hair

Has anyone else come across this?

I have lost alot of hair on my bits

I have scanty leg hair

My eyebrows are dissapearing

And my nails are in a poor state- peeling snagging and not growing

Im on T3 - 120mcg

Hi, i lost most of my body hair 10 years before i got diagnosed. In my case a central bald area if you get my drift, and virtually no underarm hair. My nails are getting worse if anything. My left eyebrow is much more sparse than.the right but i use eye brow make up to even things out. Depressing isn't it. Xx

Might be worth checking for anaemia of any cause. Poor hair and nail quality can be a symptom. You could start with this link then look around for further info.

Hi, I know the loss of armpit hair and pubic hair can be because of low adrenal function. I also think mine is from chronic untreated hypo. I did think this would improve after 2 years on thyroid meds, but sadly it hasn't.

Adrenal function, now, what other symptoms would this show.

Would an increase of T3 help

I am actually waiting for a new appointment with a new endo.
