On 125mg of thyroxine, was given 100mg of Mercury Pharma and 25mg of Teva. Could the Teva be the cause?

Teva, can it cause itching scalp, body, hair loss, body aches?
Hi - I was given the Teva brand 2 years ago and was really poorly for months. I suggest you type Teva into the search box and see the different reactions people have had to using it. If you feel it's the Teva then stop taking it, get a new prescription from your GP surgery and tell the pharmacist that you want it on your records that you are not dispensed the Teva brand. I would also fill out a yellow card on line.
Thanks, will look up Teva, have just taken an antihistamine to help and to sleep.
Good idea, I hope you manage to get some sleep at least. How long have you been taking Teva?
I hope so too. Been on Teva one month.
What brand of 25mg have you had before or is this a new prescription with raised dose? Mercury Pharma do a 25mg tablet - if your ok with that brand then I would stick to it.
It's a new script with a raised dose. Think I'm OK with MercuryPharma, will go to pharmacy and plead to do a swap with the extra Teva I have in stock.
I don’t believe they’re allowed to swap it—you may have to get your doctor to do another prescription for a different brand. Worth talking to the pharmacist about what other brands they have in stock. There aren’t many brands of the 25mcg tablet available unfortunately. But you could ask for a 50mcg tablet that you cut in half.
They are free to swap as they wish. What they can't do is re-issue the returned tablets. So someone, somewhere, loses out.
Some pharmacies seem willing to do so in the interests of their patients; other less so.

I had scalp itching and joint pain with TEVA. Unlikely to cause hairloss unless you have poor absorption with it and therefore are undermedicated.
