Have recieved same email but also a follow up one saying it will be the end of the week my pharmacy have rung AAH who havent got any yet and ordered some. So I suppose we can only wait and see.

Iv'e now just taken a call from my Surgery who advised that the local Pharmacy is ordering in from abroad and that they will write me a prescription which I should be able to collect in 48 hours.

I wonder if this is as a result of the email that I sent to the Practice Manager over the weekend referring to this: mhra.gov.uk/NewsCentre/What...

I stated in my email that my Doctor had been dismissive of my concerns when I had originally called him about the problem a couple of weeks ago. I asked why my Doctor was apparently unaware of the problem when the MHRA had clearly circulated the above to all health professionals. I went on to say that in light of the circular from the MHRA, I presumed that my Doctor would now fully cooperate in the sourcing and import of an alternative.

Perhaps my persistence actually paid off. I'm certainly very relieved at any rate.

I spoke to a Doc at my practice last week and he was looking into it. But still no word back from them - I called today and the secretary said she would ask him to phone me. I have reduced my T3 dosage as I only have a few tablets left, and this afternoon felt really tired. I am pretty fed up with the situation. I ordered some T3 from overseas but it will take 5 or 6 weeks to arrive.
